Carol from the woods as she tried to prepare herself for a possible

The Walking Dead season 3 episode 4 promo for "Killer Within" (below) shows the happenings The Walking Dead Season 3 Episode 4 in Woodbury and in the prison. In Woodbury, Michonne's doing some snooping, and it looks like the Governor Dexter Season 7 Episode 6 may have caught her based on where she is when he tells her, "We could use a soldier like you." However, Michonne would rather take her chances outside of Woodbury than inside its walls. You can't blame her, but if she chose to leave, would Andrea go with her? Walking Dead Season 3Episode 4 Also going on in Woodbury is Merle ready to go searching for his brother, and he has found out where the farmhouse was. But they're long gone from that area, and instead, it's hard not to wonder just who was spying on Carol from the woods as she tried to prepare herself for a possible C-section when Lori goes into labor.

MySQL ODBC 3.51.06 I need this driver! (no replies)

Unfortunately the last windows MySQL/ODBC driver availabe from the archives is ver 3.51.30 but I need 3.51.06. Is there any way to get it from an authorized source?

The reason I need this driver is that there is an apparent bug when I try to use any later drivers. For some reason database values disappear from query results after first access in ASP classic vbscript code.

Mysql 5.1 reinstallation (1 reply)

Hi,

I'd installed mySql-essential-5.1.50-win32.msi on my machine.
Due to some reasons I had to unistall it.
But now when i reinstall it seems to remember my previous installation process(it even asked my previous password) but and does't complete. You know there is a place wherein it checks the security while installing, the whole installation process halts there and doesn't respond.
My question is simple - how to remove mySql permanently from my system so that I reinstall it without any glitch??
I even went to regedit->HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE->Software-> MYSQL AB and deleted the registries following some of the posts in the net. They said after we do that fresh installation passes easily.
But that too in vain..
Please help me.. I've wasted a lot of time on this..

My "MySQL Command Line Client" tool no longer allows me to connect to MySQL after my password is entered. Do I need to reinstall the client tool or did I miss something during the upgrade? I took all the defaults during the upgrade.

Please advise.

MySQL Service Not Removed on Uninstall (1 reply)

When upgrading from 5.1 to 5.5, I uninstalled 5.1, then installed 5.5. The install of 5.5 failed to deploy the MySQL service because "A service of that same name exists."

Further checking revealed that the MySQL Service with a path to executable "C:\Program Files\MySQL\MySQL Server 5.1\bin\mysqld" was still listed among the services, even though the product was uninstalled and the 5.1 directory was removed. I cannot find a way to remove that service from the list of services.

I'd appreciate any suggestions from here. Thank you.

"ERROR 1045 (28000): Access denied..." when starting 5.5.28 (1 reply)

Hello,

We are attempting to upgrade mysql in our product from 5.5.8 to 5.5.28. I understand there are some items to be aware of when upgrading an installed database from 5.5.8 to 5.5.28, such as running the mysql_upgrade command.

However, I cannot even get 5.5.28 to start fresh -- without an upgrade at all. I am using the binary distribution for 5.5.28 and I removed the old 5.5.8 files from our RPM (Linux) and replaced them with 5.5.28. However, when our init script for mysql
executs it fails with a message of:

ERROR 1045 (28000): Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost' (using password: NO)

I crawled through the init script and I found that we are doing the following commands in the init script to start it

- if mysql is running, indicate such and exit
- touch and chown log files for output
- if this is the first time to run
++ echo 'Installing privilege database.'
++ /usr/blarg/mysql/scripts/mysql_install_db --user=mysql --defaults-file=/usr/blarg/mysql/my.cnf --basedir=/usr/blarg/mysql --datadir=/usr/blarg/mysql/data

# start the server
- cd /usr/blarg/mysql
- ulimit -S -c unlimited
- bin/mysqld_safe --defaults-file=/usr/blarg/mysql/my.cnf --basedir=/usr/blarg/mysql --datadir=/usr/blarg/mysql/data --user=mysql

- if this is the first time to run
++ /usr/blarg/mysql/bin/mysql -u root -S /usr/blarg/mysql/mysql.sock -e 'SET PASSWORD FOR '\''root'\''@'\''localhost'\'' = '\''*AB0DC6D4A0ACFA6A216B99AF6CBF6DB24ADF7CA3'\'';'

And this last command is where it fails with the message

ERROR 1045 (28000): Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost' (using password: NO)

Thanks in advance,

John

Install MySQL with MS SQL Server 2008 present (1 reply)

Has anyone tried, or had issues with, installing the MySQL Community Server with Microsoft SQL Server 2008 (full Server product, NOT the SQL Compact edition that's free) present on the machine?

I need the MS SQL to be installed, but want to use MySQL as well. i know they use different port numbers, so I'm wondering if this will create a problem or not?

Any suggestions or experiences would be helpful.

Thanks

Master-Master Replication (no replies)

Hi Everyone,

I've done Master-Master Replication on Centos server.
But, once I restart MySQL, both log_bin and log_pos changes. Resulting replication breakdown.
If I manually override using command "CHANGE MASTER TO MASTER_LOG_FILE='<MASTER_LOG_FILENAME>', MASTER_LOG_POS=<MASTER_POSITION>", then old data will be lost after replication breakup and before recovering of replication.

So my question is
1) How can I make automatic resync of log_file and positon to Slave? OR
2) How can I assign previous used log_file and position to Master?

Thanks in advance :)

Recovery Mysql database from file and older version (3 replies)

I received a HD to recover a MySQL database (older version, I don't know what version). I copied the data file (from /var/lib/mysql/<database directory>) and I did just copied to other server with MySQL version 5.5.28.

The mysqld service started with successfully after copy, but I found a little problem when i tried to manipulate data from this recovered database.

Does anyone knows how to solve that?

Help with selecting dates based on time (5 replies)

Hey I am new here and new to SQL in general. Basically I wrote a program for work where a user can enter in lunch meal's via php and then the data is displayed on the wall for other workers to look at it through out the day. Higher management wants the meal to display for the current day unless its after a certain time then they would like for the meal for tomorrow to display.

Right now my statement is:
select * from lunch where date = '$todaysdate'

$todaysdate is a variable held with the actual PHP page displaying the lunch meal for that day. How can I add to my select statement where if its after 1PM then tomorrows meal is displayed.

Export, import mysql Wordpress database (1 reply)

Hello,

Is their a proper way of exporting and importing a big Wordpress mySQL database to a new database.

When I tried to do that in the standard way I run into 2 issues:

1. All widgets disappeared and I had to create them from scratch

2. I had issues with special characters such as ' and I had to search and replace the gibberish letters

This is quite important as I need to move to a managed server from shared hosting. All apache, php, MySQL versions will be the same.

Ps: this will have to be SSH commands as phpadmin times out due to the database size.

Many thanks,
Andy

I'm trying to install mysql on Debian (I know, a different distro, but I guess you will be able to help me anyway) by entering the following line:

After doing this and running the following command I still get error messages.

Command: /opt/mysql/server5.5/bin/mysqld start

where is default startup configuration Mac Lion (no replies)

Hi, I installed mysql 5.5.28 from the binary installer on Mac 10.7.5 along with the Control panel which starts and stops the server. I've added the path /usr/local/mysql/bin

I can log in using [mysql -u root -h localhost -p]

Originally I was logging in just using [mysql] at the prompt.
However after much frustration I found that while I was logging in as 'myusername' I was authenticating as 'anonymous'.

Long story short, I now have a password assigned to 'myusername'

However when I try to login simply using [mysql] at the prompt I am greeted by the error message
"Access denied for user 'myusername'@'localhost' (using password: NO)"

I assume it's because the login is expecting an anonymous login, because I can log in using [mysql -u myusername -h localhost -p]

Where is the configuration that I can change so I can simply login with [mysql] ?

Thanks for any help,
jim
