How to detect which version of mysql is installed on client machine (no replies)

I have right some installation script for my application. it install stored procedures along with my application, But when I install my MSI file on client machine it give compatibility errors when a different version of mySql is installed on client machine.

Kindly guide me where am I making error that produce this bug.
