Access denied for user 'ODBC'@'localhost' (using password: NO) (1 reply)

Hi,

I've been at this for 2 days now. database crashed so I had to uninstal mysql server and remove odbc 5.1, then installed both again. I can connect to the db remotely and the odbc connection test was successful, when ever I try and connect to the database from a php page I get the error Access denied for user 'ODBC'@'localhost' (using password: NO) I don't know what to do and my eyes are sore from looking over forums.
