libmysqlclient.so not found after mac install (1 reply)

I've installed MySQL on my Mac using the disk image (dmg) distribution. Should libmysqlclient.so have been installed? I searched my whole hard drive and cannot find it.

I need it because I'm installing the OCaml language's binding to MySQL, which looks for this. I've successfully used the mysql program, so I know MySQL is installed correctly and working.
