Help!
I has MySql 5.1 running, (checked with MySQLWorkbench), but was unable to connect to it via PHP Script, complaining error: 2002, unable to connect.
Tried a bunch of suggestions from the Net by playing with the socket specification to no success. So I removed it and encountering problem removing.
When I re-install it using Synaptic Package Mgr, it complainded:
E: /var/cache/apt/archives/mysql-server-5.1_5.1.37-1ubuntu5.5_i386.deb: conflicting packages - not installing mysql-server
Any idea how to completedly and forcefully remove it?
