Windows 7 Install failure (no replies)

Installer: MySQL Installer 5.5.19
Operating System: Windows 7 Professional
Ram: 4GB
Disc: 432GB free
Failure Point: Welcome Screen
Symptoms:
1. No links* function and window will not close
2. Windows Task Manager shows MySQL Installer is running normally
3. Install simply freezes when Welcome screen is displayed and "End Task" must be selected in Windows Task Manager to close the window.
4. No error messages displayed.
5. No other software running.
6. MySQL Installer 5.5.19 worked perfectly on two other Windows 7 Home Ed. computers
* "Instsll MySQL Products," "About MySQL," and "Resources"
