MySQL on a 2005 Mac Mini? (no replies)

I am doing some research for my work and have an old Mac Mini (1.25 GHz PowerPC G4) running Mac OS X Version 10.5.8.

I have downloaded version 5.1 (mysql-5.1.61-osx10.5-x86.dmg) but once installed I cannot start MySQL because of a Bad CPU type in executable.

Is this a limitation of the Mac Mini? If so which version of MySQL should I be able to install?
