MySQL IPv6 support? (1 reply)

Does MySQL support IPv6 now?

by support I mean:
- MySQL listening on an IPv6 address rather than on a IPv4 address.
- Systems will be migrating to IPv6 soon; at least within one year(end of 2011).

If it's supported can someone tell me:
- which version of MySQL?
- how to configure IPv6 in MySQL configurations?

If it's not supported then it leaves me with IPv4 alone. MySQL has to be run on private networks with Hybrid(IPv4 + IPv6 supported) system in place.
