Hi all.
I installed Fedora 14 and MySQL (directly from the Fedora repositories). I have been using MySQL for a long time, more than 5 years (in Windows and Ubuntu machines) without problems. The fact is that as i see (in Fedora 14) the file /etc/my.cnf, TCP/IP connections are allowed (there are no bind-address line or skip-networking line), but if i try to use any client from a remote machine (SQLYog, Toad, etc.), the connection is refused with the error 2003: Can't connect to MySQL on 'xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx' (10060).
The MySQL server is up (i can connect locally), created databases, and i created a user with connections allowed in '%'.
So, i am tired trying to get a remote connection without results.
Thanks a lot and sorry for my english (i am in Latin America).
