Hi, i have downloaded the zip non-install version of mysql 5.5.8 of the size 27.5 mb. I have read so many manuals but failed to run the server. I extracted the files. I use windows xp sp2 32 bit. Please help with required steps. I actually couldn't find a manual exactly for the 5.5.8 version.
