Hi,
I have MySSQL 5.1.42-community server install on Windows 2008 server platform. When I run vulnerability check, I get below:

======================================================
The version of MySQL Community Server installed on the remote host is earlier than 5.1.48 and thus potentially affected by a denial of service vulnerability.
The 'ALTER DATABASE' command can be misused by a user with 'ALTER' permissions to cause the MySQL data directory to become unusable.

How do I fix this issue without Upgrading to 5.1.48 ?. If this is not possible, what is the easiest way of upgrading from 5.1.42 to 5.1.48. I am hoping that I do not have to remove everything to upgrade to next version which is very small difference. I am scared to death if I have to remove previous verison and install 5.1.48 version from scratch and reimport data etc.

Also, Is there anyway I can avoid exporting existing data from all database and import back after upgrade ?. Please point me to step by step process if any avaialable

Thanks in Advance.
