fail to create DB connection in server configuration of workbench (no replies)

Hi all,

I am real newbie in MySQL and have a problem I cannot solve.

I have set up 2 database servers (localhost& world '127.0.0.1'), I have tested the connections:
- my.ini is configured
- the database server is running
- the methods to connect is Standard TCP/IP

While the server is running, there is no DB shown in the lists of all current connections to the monitored server.

I also fail to make a connection from my website to the DB ofcourse...

Can anyone help me?
