Is there a way to change the install location for Solaris? (no replies)

I keep running into this problem because we're using sparse root zones. The /usr/local directory is read only, so I can't put mysql there unless I did it at the global zone level and I don't want to do that. I just want a quick install to one zone.

It seems I'm stuck either building it myself (which is always a crapshoot under Solaris), or using Blastwave, which I'd also really rather not do.

Is it possible to just search and replace /usr/local with say, /opt/local? Is there a script that will change the prefix and re-run make install?
