Hi,
We are running Mysql-5.1.36-enterprise-gpl-advanced. Due to lot of temporary tables issue, we plan to move to Mysql-5.1.50.
I guess following steps will do
1. Uninstall all mysql-5.1.36 rpms from the server
2. Install mysql-5.1.50
3. Data directory, my.cnf and start-up script are same as earlier, they can be used as it. Start mysql using /etc/init.d/mysql script.
Thanks,
Mani
