Mysql as windows service won't accept password (2 replies)

Hi!
The problem is: when I install Mysql 5.1.53 x86 as windows service on Win 2008 R2 x64 it doesn't accept a root password.
When i shut down service, start Mysqld from console, it accepts password.
Any solution to fix it to accept password when it is started as service?
