Just some quick questions for you guys:

1. What's the best/easiest combo (between IIS,Apache,MySql, Mysql Server, etc.) to use if I want to host a website with database/php support on a machine running windows server 2003/2008 ?

2. How do I get my php webpages to "talk" to the database? Is it enough to create php pages with sql commands?

I just need a little info to get started, so any recommendations would be appreciated. Thanks for anything you can offer :)
