Problem installing MySQL 5.5.8 x64 on Windows 7 x64 (no replies)

Hello, I'm trying to install latest version 5.5.8 (x64 version) on my windows 7. The instance configuration wizard always fails when trying to apply the security settings saying that couldn't connect to the server, but the servir is running.
