MYSQL 5.5.8 DOES NOT INSTALL (no replies)

I've been buzy all day erasing and installing MYSQL all day
REMOVING REGISTRY
REMOVE FILES
REMOVE all installed software

I managed to get it running once but the crappy workbench somehow destroyed the password
SInce then I have the authentication failere blank authenticetion field
on a fresh completely erased instalation
THIS is BEJOND NORMAL CRAPPY DESIGN
