MySQL Service Already Exists (1 reply)

Hello,

When trying to install MySQL on my PC, I get the error message :

A Windows service with the name MySQL already exists. Please uninstall this service correctly or choose a different name for the new service.

The MySQL service shows up under Component Services > Services (Local) : could anyone tell me how to delete this service (how to uninstall it correctly, as the error message states). Thank you very much,
