My question is would I be able to mount a previous MySQL version (5.0.45) datadir folder onto a new install of MySQL 5.1?
The db's contain my Innodb and some MyISAM tables.
Would there be any problems with doing this?
Our current 5.0.45 version crashed and we'd like to install 5.1 and simply mount the previous datadir on this. Obviously considering my.cnf would be the same.
