cross compile mysql for arm linux (no replies)

hi everyone,
I am trying to cross compile mysql-5.0.91 and mysql-5.1.53 for arm linux.
I configure the package as ./configure --host=arm-linux
But it is showing an error during configuration:

checking "return type of sprintf"... configure: error: in `/home/suriya/MYQSl/mysql-5.0.91':
configure: error: cannot run test program while cross compiling

can anyone suggest me what to do or how to disable test program ?
Is there any good documentation for cross compilation of mysql ?
